FIRST NAVY JACK - "DON'T TREAD ON ME" FLAG. 3'X5' OUTDOOR NYLON. THIS FLAG IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN FLOWN ABOARD THE CONTINENTAL FLEET'S FLAGSHIP ALFRED, IN JANUARY, 1776. THIS FLAG OR ONE OF IT'S VARIATIONS WAS USED BY AMERICAN SHIPS THROUGHOUT THE REVOLUTION. IT HAS 13 ALTERNATING RED AND WHITE STRIPES WITH AN UNCOILED RATTLESNAKE EMBLEM AND THE MOTTO "DON'T TREAD ON ME." SINCE SEPTEMBER 11, 2002, ALL U.S. NAVY SHIPS HAVE BEEN PROUDLY FLYING THE 1ST NAVY JACK IN THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM.
